Annual pet wellness visits
Taking a proactive approach to your pet’s health care is where it all begins with annual wellness visits or “check ups”. These appointments are essential to keeping pets up to date on vaccines,current on fecal and blood testing that are needed for most daycares, boarding and even grooming appointments. We can do annual bloodwork or even senior bloodwork to establish a baseline to compare to. Dental assessments can be done at your annual appointment and are a great way of taking initiative on your beloved pets dental hygiene.
Pet X-rays
Here at Larchmont Animal Hospital we are equipped with state of the art digital radiographs. Our digital radiographs reduce your pets exposure to radiation, are more well defined than film x-rays and are quickly performed. Our in house digital x ray machine can be sent to a radiologist to be reviewed right from our hospital.
Pet surgical procedures
Surgery can be stressful and worrisome so you’ll appreciate knowing we have a modern surgical suite with extensive monitoring equipment. The team at Larchmont Animal Hospital brings a unique combination of compassion and expertise to a wide range of surgical procedures, including those involving:

When people think of hospitals, we often think of emergencies. At Larchmont Animal Hospital we do see emergencies during our normal business hours if we have the time allotted. Everyday we reserve multiple appointment slots to help with those last minute emergencies.

Pet eye care
Pets can be afflicted from many of the same eye conditions as people can suffer from including dry eye, “cherry eye, corneal ulcers , lacerations and even glaucoma (which can lead to vision loss and even blindness) Eye issues can progress quickly so having those eye problems seen quickly can get your pet on the road to healing as soon as possible.
Pet allergy and dermatology relief
Pets can have allergies too! Pets can be allergic not only to the seasons, but can also be allergic to their own food, treats, the environment, such as pollens, dust and even human skin cells. Pet allergens can be vast and always changing so keeping your eye out for these symptoms and having your pet seen by a doctor helps determine if your pet is suffering from allergies. Some symptoms include:
- Excessive licking of paws and/or skin
